[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The Wine Studio, located in Tampa, Florida is a new wine bar conceived to offer wine and light fare in an art filled surrounding. The casual tasting areas resemble comfortable living room spaces, meant to encourage mingling and cross table conversation. The branding strategy of this wine bar focused on a proving a sense of fun in a casual and sophisticated setting. This brand required a website that conveyed the overall theme of the establishment; Wine, Food and Art.

As web designers, our challenge was to carry this theme forward in an online presence using a functional and attractive gateway. The goal was to match the ambiance in a way that drew visitors in and encouraged them to explore the wine and food offerings from the Wine Studio.

The logo was designed before we started, making the choices of  a palette, and detail design components, a bit easier. The logo components, also reflected in the header and ]footer section, were used through out the design. We realized during the conceptual design phase that large photographs would be required to convey the warm and welcoming environment. The design of the wine bar is unique, and the site needed to share feeling that with potential patrons; It was important to allow them to virtually visit. The WordPress theme chosen for this project not only supports a full interactive food and wine menu, but also support a large photo slider area just under the header image.

The Wine Studio is now open for business and they are preparing to hire a photographer to capture the building exterior, interior and the food plates. All of these photos will be used in the interactive menu, and the building shots will be used in the large header slide show are. While not a Loudoun website design, the same terrific services are provided to our client regardless of their physical location.

During the design and development of this website, nearly all components were properly associated with relevant categories and tag words. This is an important process that ensures the that search optimization provides the highest ranking possible. Also known as SEO, tagging images, pages and posts is a means to associate the website with the keywords and phrases that relate to their business and geographic location. Location phrases such as Tampa, Florida and Hillsborough County. The SEO plan also leveraged phrases such as wine, food, fare, bar and words relating to their menu items. The menu item names themselves also serve to support good search optimization.

Following the completion of this website, we trained the staff in operational management such that they can add photos and blog posts themselves. Continually adding to your website in an important way to gain the favors of the major search engines: Google, Bing and Yahoo. Just designing and building a website does not ensure traffic will come. You also need to be prepared to add fresh content at least weekly.
