Brian, owner of PSL, needed a new website design that not only reflected his company’s legacy and brand, but also sought to modernize workflow. Combined with an attractive new website design, online quote forms were also built in. Accessible to only his staff, this new process reduces the need for printed paper quotes (and printing costs) and ensures that proper project routing occurs. In the past, a paper-based form and clipboard were used to record the needs of the client. A copy was provided to the customer, and a copy was filed at the office. The new web form allows for an iPad or mobile device to access the formatted quote form, complete each relevant field and enter the client’s email address. Using automated routing, both parties receive electronic versions and Brian’s workflow is improved.
